Netcetera OÜ runs Kinetic and is responsible for your personal data. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• When you join: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, level, and which formats, areas, times and clubs you'd like to play.
• When you book: the games you book or cancel, and your level. A photo too, if you add one.
• If you sign up for our news: your email address.
• To stop abuse: a scrambled version of your IP address that can't be reversed, and your browser type. We use these to limit repeated sign-ups and number lookups.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The booking page saves your booking in your own browser so it remembers you next time.

Why we use it

• To run your membership, match you with players at your level, and organise and confirm games. This is needed to provide the service you signed up for.
• To add you to our WhatsApp groups. You agree to this when you tick the box on the join form, and you can leave the groups at any time.
• To send booking confirmations and calendar invites by email.
• To send our news by email, if you sign up for it. This is based on your consent, and every email has a link to unsubscribe.
• To prevent abuse and keep the service secure. This is our legitimate interest.

Who sees it

• Other players: players booked into the same game see your first name, initial, level and photo. People in a WhatsApp group see your name and number, as with any WhatsApp group.
• Kinetic player system: our player and league database, which we run.
• Service providers: OVH hosts our servers in the EU. Resend sends our emails, and Instasite our news emails. WhatsApp (Meta) runs the groups. Google provides the website's fonts, and OpenStreetMap the venue map. Some of these may process data outside the EU, under the safeguards the GDPR requires.
• Clubs: where a club needs to know who's playing, we give them the names of the players booked.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you're a member. We delete them within 12 months of you leaving, or sooner if you ask, unless we need to keep payment records for tax law. Number lookup records are deleted after an hour.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@kinetic.im and we'll reply within a month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) or, in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Changes

If we make important changes to this page, we'll tell members by email or WhatsApp.
